Since we had passes left from when the nephews were in town, we spent a FREE day at Universal Studios where Langston and I were able to show Gene everything he missed. And, since we timed it better, we went on the studio tour at the time when Langston would usually take his nap so it was 45 minutes of bliss for him and or us! As a result, we were all able to better enjoy his time there....
We didn't go on a single ride, just walked around - saw the sights and took Langston to all of the toddler appropriate attractions. And, the best part is we didn't feel like we had to be there all day! We even went on a Sunday - both Gene and I took the day off and had a good old fashioned Sunday brunch prior to our day of fresh air.
Langston is getting so active - he has perfected walking and is working on running - he's inquisitive, bright and quick to learn. "Smart as a whip," my grandmother says. At both daycare and the church nursery the child care workers claim they "earn their pay" when Langston's in their class. He's adventurous and energetic - that's for sure!
