A week away!

Oh my goodness! We're so far behind!

Here's our attempt to bring you up to date...

In the month of August we went to Baltimore for a friend's wedding. We spent one weekend in Maryland with friends and extended family and the following week in New Jersey with our immediate family and 3 children of family friends. Whew - what an adventure!

There are more stories than I can type here and more memories for us to savor! But, here's a little snapshot of our week. After we missed our flight there and flew standby (Wa, waa, waaa), we did some sightseeing in Baltimore, had a crab fest (of course!), shared some BBQ, saw the beautiful Orioles stadium from our hotel room (complete with fireworks!), went to shore (and saw the dry run for the air show from the sand, you'll see this in the video) - and then the boardwalk in Atlantic City - and then hit a buffet at the casinos!, spent some time swimming at a friend's house, found out from our house sitter that our dog died while we were away :( , visited with family, ate out a bunch and just had a blast, in general.

enjoying some pudding! Langston got sick while we were away and had a sore on his tongue which made eating difficult. so this pudding was the first time he had really tasted something in a while and he clearly LOVED it!
