Butterflies and Flutterbies!

This mommy is playing catch-up! We've had a busy summer which means not only a lot of outings and a lot of photos, but also not a lot of time to sit and post them all! So here we go...

After my family left town, I wanted to make sure Langston didn't have total withdrawal so we still kept up our hectic schedule of doing something different each day.

On his first day back to school I picked up him and we raced to the Natural History Museum which is right down the street from his school. We went to the "Pavilion of Wings" and walked in and amongst all of the beautiful butterflies. It was so cool and he was really intrigued (despite being really tired!)




Three days later, on my day off, I took Langston to travel town and we rode the train.

Then we headed back to the zoo to check out the gorillas, chimps, zebras and giraffes that we didn't get to see before. He had a great time and especially enjoyed the corn dog he ate for lunch. First one ever!
