L: Mommy, "Why do you need to call Hunny every day?"

Me: "Because She's my mom and I love her. I like talking to her. Don't you like talking to me? [I'm thinking, 'choose your words wisely, here, kid]"

L: "Yes."

Me: "Why?"

L: (smiling) "Because you're my mo-om!"

Me: "Well, Hunny is my mom."

L: (pregnant pause) "How does that make sense?"
