Kids, karaoke, and ?

I couldn't think of a good third "k". Here's what i do know, though (maybe "know is my 3rd "k"). We are so blessed! I look at Langston daily and think he is just the most amazing thing I have ever seen, done or been a part of. Just last night Gene said the same thing to me - "that's it, it's official...he's the greatest thing I've ever done!" Almost like it had just hit him, but I know it hadn't. Instead, Langston is just this blessing that continues to evolve and reveal itself to us, like what we know and feel now is just the tip of the iceberg. I am amazed at God's good favor to bless us with such a wonderful gift! And at the same time, overwhelmed with the enormity of what that means. I was also thinking about family and friends and how supportive and loving our circle is. Again, the only word I can think of that encompasses it all, is "blessed"...like a warm blanket gently laid over us and tucked in around us.

Langston is growing, growing, growing. His sweet disposition and pure joy is infectious. He is always ready with a delicious grin and usually wakes up smiling. He is rolling over - everywhere!!! Front to back, back to front, left to right, right to left...it doesn't matter - he isn't crawling yet, just rolling around wherever he wants to go and into EVERYTHING!! Hunny calls him "Mr. R & G" (reaching and grabbing). He is such a delight!

Here he is at Christmas dinner, showing us his pacifier.

Happy to be at the adult table! (We only have one table.)

Had to get the "Baby's First Christmas" bib on "film" for prosperity.

Thank you, I'll just be taking that.

Yes, we bought my parents a karaoke machine for Christmas. The kids (and my brother, although he would never admit it - I swear he knew and sang every song we had) loved it.

Khalil & Kanye take a turn, singing the hokey pokey.

Yes, the boys are all wearing the same outfit, again (even Langston at the dinner table!).

Kyle and Ayana take a turn, while the boys act as back-up dancers (or in front dancers, we're flexible).

Even Grandmom Mollye gets in on the action.

Ummm - hey, what are you guys doing in there and why am I out here?

Aaah - that's better!

Yippee! Everyone fits!

Hey, what's so funny?

Look at that face!

See what I mean? Can't get all 5 facing the camera at once.

So happy!

Kalil was doing some great dancing there in that last video!! Your brother didn't seem too enthusiastic about the whole thing though!!

yes - he has to play it cool, but trust me when i tell you - he knew every song that came on and was always willing to take the mic.
