Boo At the Zoo

Like I said in the previous post- anything Halloween? I'm in! The day after our party was the last day for "Boo at the Zoo!" We have a zoo membership and I had been trying to get Langston to the zoo for 2 weekends so despite being a little worn down from the night before, Langston and I made the trip.

They had trick or treating for the little ones with juice boxes and candy.

Langston was really all about the juice boxes.

Then there was a puppet show.

Next, a walk through he "Creep Crawlies of the Night" exhibit.

Langston is being invited to touch a giant cockroach. The woman very kindly said, "as long as he doesn't grab it."

Little did she know she was dealing with Lightning-fast Super Toddler. He was quick! - grabbing it and almost squeezing it before the cockroach slipped up and out of his little hand into her waiting one. It all happened so fast and was over in a flash, but hilarious to watch the woman's expression.


Next it was time for the snakes.


Notice how they're holding his hand? They're not taking any chances this time!
