This post will be short and sweet and right to the point (kind of like the people in this picture!):The nephews came into town on the 18 to spend their traditional summer vacation with us which just happens to overlap with Langston's baptism on the 24th. Talk about great planning!
Here's how the first meeting went at the airport:
Aunt Kalyn, can Langston walk? (No that is not a typ-o...Kanye, the 3, almost 4 year old, was asking the questions, hence the funny speech.)
No.
Can he talk?
No, not yet.
Can he even cwawl? (again with the speech...)
No - he's just a baby.
Awwww. - (a hint of a smile, big sighing and rolling of eyes accompanied this sound.)
That's how the first hour or so went - along with Khalil (7) showing me how funny Langston looks when he opens up his eyes real wide, Kedar (5 soon to be 6) asking me if Langston could sit-up, to which I had to answer again a disappointing, "No" and Kayden (1, almost 2) pointing to him and saying "baby". The boys of course, also gave him plenty of kisses - and Langston gave them plenty of kisses (well, I put Langston's face close to theirs for "kisses") Despite their initial disbelief about his abilities (or lack there-of), they fell in love with him and there were many "arguments" about whose turn it was to sit next to Langston, feed Langston, replace his pacifier or help make his bottle.
We have TONS (and I mean TONS!) of pictures of them that we'll share, but for now I think these say it all!

OK who got those outfits? Too darn cute!
Langston was awake for a while, then the excitement was just too much for him and he fell asleep.
